TLC 110 Accelerated Coach Training (6 Credit Hours) begining August 17th $595.00

Leadership coaching is a skill that will benefit all individuals involved in ministry. This is a fifteen week course where the student will receive training in leadership coaching through being coached, putting acquired coaching principles to work in their own life and then using them to begin coaching others. An authentic peer coaching relationship will be developed, along with the nurturing of the heart and disciplines of a coach and experience on how growth is multiplied in a coaching community that are learning the skills.  No prerequisites required.

Acts  - Monday Nights begining Jan 5th

6:00pm - 8:00pm - Dr. Ken Burnett

3 Credit Hours

A study of the continuing ministry of the risen Christ by the Holy Spirit through the Church, as described in the Book of Acts. The course deals with the birth of the Church, the spread of the gospel, and the victories provided by Christ through the Spirit.


Hebrews - Monday Nights begining Jan 5th

8:00pm - 10:00pm - Rev. Mary Poehner

3 Credit Hours

An in-depth study of the great themes of the book of Hebrews, including a discussion of authorship, historical context, purpose of writing and relevance to present day Christian living. The course includes a study of direct and indirect authority, as well as submission and obedience to God’s will.


Systematic Theology II - Tuesday Nights begining Jan 6th

3 Credit Hours

A study of the nature, method, sources, and divisions of systematic theology based on the authority of the Bible and God’s revelation. The primary focus will be to develop a better understanding of the person of Christ in both His deity and humanity, the nature and work of Christ’s atoning sacrifice, the person and work of the Holy Spirit, the nature and fundamental concepts of salvation, the nature and functions of the Church and the nature of biblical Hope.


Principles of Leadership - Tuesday Nights begining Jan 6th

8:00pm - 10:00pm - Dr. Ron Young 

3 Credit Hours

A study leading to the development of a biblical theology of leadership. Consideration will be given to the discovery of the foundations of a leadership model as revealed in the New Testament, to the understanding of what are the various roles of a leader within the church environment, and to the development of the various functions of a leader in the environment of practical ministry.


Apologetics - Thursday Nights begining Jan 8th 

 6:00pm - 8:00pm - Rev. Chuck Hobson

3 Credit Hours

A philosophical study of the evidential bases for Christian faith. This course helps students explore the relationship between faith and reason and develop a reasoned defense of the Christian worldview against rivals such as naturalism and humanism.


Pentecostal Doctrine - Thursday Nights begining Jan 8th

8:00pm - 10:00pm - Rev. Chuck Hobson

3 Credit Hours

A practical overview of the ministry of the Holy Spirit in the Old Testament, New Testament, Church history, today and in the future. The class will explore the theology of the Holy Spirit and His activity in the Book of Acts. It will provide an understanding of the gifts of the Spirit as found in I Corinthians and the fruit of the Spirit found in Galatians 5.

Tuition payments can be spread out one month apart starting at registration by submitting post-dated checks - all of which must be paid before classes begin.

Registration will be held Thursday, Sept 11th from 6 to 7 pm in CE4 (next to the Lyceum)

A Course Syllabus for each class will also be available at that time.

Tuition checks made payable to Canyon Hills can be sent with your completed application.

Books must be paid for separately and payment in full will be required at the time of purchase.
